Terms & Conditions
These terms set out how we work together: the services we provide, how projects are quoted and paid for, who owns the work, and the limits of our responsibilities.
Last updated: 10 June 2026
01About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Brand Exposure website (www.exposure.co.in) and the branding, design, and web services we provide. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Brand Exposure is a branding and brand-engineering studio based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, founded in 1991. In these terms, Brand Exposure, we, us, and our refer to the studio, and you or the client refers to the individual or organisation engaging our services.
Where a signed proposal, quotation, or statement of work exists for a specific project, that document and these terms apply together. If there is any conflict, the signed proposal for that project takes precedence.
02Our services
Brand Exposure provides complete branding solutions, including logo design, brand identity development, packaging design, brand implementation, website design and development, and digital marketing support.
The exact scope, deliverables, and timeline for any engagement are defined in the proposal or quotation issued for that project. Work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
03Quotations and engagement
Quotations are valid for the period stated on the document, or for 30 days where no period is stated. A project is considered confirmed once you accept the quotation and the advance payment is received.
Timelines provided are estimates based on the agreed scope and on timely feedback, approvals, and content from the client. Delays in client input may extend delivery dates accordingly.
04Fees and payment
Fees are as set out in the accepted quotation and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is charged as per prevailing rates. Our GSTIN is 33ABYPH4376B1ZK.
Payment schedule
- A 75% advance payment is required to begin the project.
- The remaining balance is payable after final design approval, and before final files, source files, or live deployment are released.
- For website projects, hosting is included for the first year. Annual renewal is billed separately thereafter.
Invoices are due on the dates stated. We reserve the right to pause work on accounts with overdue payments until the account is settled.
05Cancellation and refunds
The advance payment secures your project slot and funds the initial strategy and concept work. For this reason, the advance payment is non-refundable once work has begun.
If you choose to cancel a project after work has started, any amount already invoiced for completed stages remains payable, and the advance is not returned. Where a project is cancelled by us for reasons within our control, we will fairly account for work delivered against amounts paid.
06Client responsibilities
To deliver effective work on time, we rely on your cooperation. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete information, content, and brand materials needed for the project.
- Review work and provide consolidated feedback and approvals within reasonable timeframes.
- Ensure that any text, images, logos, or other materials you supply do not infringe the rights of any third party.
- Nominate a single point of contact with the authority to approve work on your behalf.
You are responsible for checking and approving all final deliverables. Once you approve a deliverable, you accept responsibility for errors not identified before sign-off, including spelling, contact details, and printed specifications.
07Revisions and approvals
Each engagement includes the number of concept directions and revision rounds stated in the proposal. Additional rounds, new directions, or changes requested after approval may be quoted as additional work.
Approval may be given in writing, including by email. Production, printing, or deployment proceeds on the basis of approved files.
08Intellectual property and ownership
Ownership of the final approved deliverables created specifically for your project transfers to you upon receipt of full and final payment. Until then, all rights in the work remain with Brand Exposure.
Preliminary concepts, unused designs, and working files that were not part of the final approved deliverables remain the property of Brand Exposure unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Brand Exposure retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio, case studies, website, and marketing materials for promotional purposes. If a project is confidential, please tell us in writing before it begins.
09Third-party materials and services
Some projects use third-party assets or services, such as fonts, stock photography, icons, plugins, hosting, or software platforms. These are governed by their own licences and terms, and any associated licence fees are the responsibility of the client unless stated otherwise in the quotation.
10Website hosting and renewal
For website projects, the first year of hosting is included from the date the site goes live. Hosting renews annually and is billed separately. We will notify you ahead of renewal.
If hosting is not renewed, the website may be suspended or taken offline. We are not responsible for loss of service or data resulting from non-renewal or from third-party hosting and domain providers.
11Warranties and limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brand Exposure is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, data, or business, arising from the use of our services or this website.
Our total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
12Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural events, power or internet failures, government actions, or other circumstances that could not reasonably be foreseen or prevented.
13Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or from our services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
