Exposure was founded on 26 January 1991 by Mr. S.M. Ismail, an engineer with an uncommon vision.
After completing his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Dharwad University, Karnataka, he returned to Coimbatore to continue his family’s respected industrial legacy through Star Electrical.
Between 1987 and 1989, he led major industrial projects across Tamil Nadu. But while others focused on systems of power, he envisioned systems of communication.
At a time when computers were still rare in India, he saw their extraordinary potential for creative transformation. That vision gave birth to Exposure.

The Founding Team

Chennai Expansion
1989. Expanding Horizons.
In 2001, Exposure expanded to Nungambakkam, Chennai. This strategic move opened doors to broader national clientele and elevated Exposure onto a larger creative stage. Projects soon arrived from leading institutions and organizations across India.
2001Engineering
The Digital Shift
In 2010, Exposure launched its website development division. As businesses moved online, Exposure evolved from print-led creative systems into complete digital brand engineering.

2001. Returning Home. Going Global.
With business becoming fully digital, Exposure relocated its headquarters back to Coimbatore in 2016. Physical boundaries disappeared. Creative possibilities expanded.
